Who said the pianist was absent? Apparently when the original pianist had an excuse to pass the show, this host asked a favor from the crowd who can play the piano. And David Tolley got it on stage and had an opportunity to play as a cover. But when he started to play, people was really impressed. This guy has the talent! I don't if he got the position for the show after. :)
